French Linen OR Painters Dropsheet
Many of you have been in to see our lovely Christmas display. Our old farm table covered in what looks like a beautiful french linen tablecloth. We all know now it is a sturdy cotton, painters dropsheet.
Well, inspired by this and how much you all liked it (we have sold dozens with dozens more on order) AND with an inspection from a Brisbane Visual Merchandising guru pending, which you may have seen in the Noosa Journal, I started a really pretty Christmas display, the back ground of which is……. A VOLUMINOUS FRENCH LINEN CURTAIN – No a painters dropsheet – have a look!
Some of the details of the display.
Come in and have a look.
See you in the store.
Do You Want to See a Lovely Web Page?
It’s a store called Red Ticking in Seattle Washington, so no concerns about rushing out and spending foolishly.
Have a look around. Look at the blog as well.
If you love pretty things, you will love this.

Noosa Christmas Part 2
You come into our store every Christmas looking for decorations that are a little different. A little COASTAL or BEACHY.
Here are some of the pictures I took of our display last year.
Everyone LOVED these decorations. Actually there was a delivery issue and they arrived about three days before Christmas. Disaster. How would we sell them all in three days.
Well, of course, all went in two days. Wished we had been able to get more. But, that’s retail.
We will get these again this year 2010. I have been mulling over ideas for the next Christmas display.
Next post.
See you in the store.

If I confessed, right now, in front of you, my millions of readers, that I am a magazine-aholic, would this news received more than a faint yawn ! !
YES, this is the third on-line magazine I have brought to your attention. Maybe the fourth…..but they are all fabulous, and this one is Australian.
OK so was the last one.
Well, look at this. How lovely is this room.
Lots more like this. Plus a great article from one of my favourite Interior Designers (and bloggers) Anna Spiro.
More about Christmas in the store soon. It is shaping up to be the best Christmas we have ever had. And we have had some beauts.
See you in the store.
There is Something About a Beautiful Garden Centre
Is there a more beautiful garden centre than Petersham, in England?
Their web page certainly is evocative. When I need some inspiration,or just to have my spirits lifted I browse through their gallery pages.
Attending a function at the Teahouse is on my Bucket List. Have a look.
